Fun with bread (part two)

There’s just one more week left in our “Bread Your Stuff” contest and we’ve been getting some pretty great photos from our Facebook friends.
Heather Mulno sent us this heart-shaped breading. So cute!

And thanks to Rachel Hammer Warner, Charlie-the-whole-wheat-breaded-cat is now our office mascot.

While there isn’t actually any bread in this photo, we’re giving Becky Cunningham points for creativity thanks to her”Pan au Chocolat” idea. She obviously knows we appreciate a good play on words.

And the pop culture points go to Donna Cross, who found a way to bread ”The Big Lebowski’s” Dude.

Even The Dude isn't too cool for a good breading

Finally, from the creative mind of Lew Kline comes the Breaded President. Is this what he was doing on Super Tuesday?

  1. Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s difficult to get that “perfect balance” between usability and appearance. I must say that you’ve done a excellent job with this. Also, the blog loads super quick for me on Internet explorer. Superb Blog!

The little girl in the “eye love bread” picture is turning 6 on May 1st, and she was wondering who won “bread something you love” contest. She is hoping to have Bread & Cie cupcakes on her birthday !!!!!

    Thanks! Heather

Thanks for sharing this! I’ve been triyng bread for a while, but can never get it quite right so I give up and try a month or two later. I’ve decided part of my problem (not all of it…yesterday I forgot the salt!) is my pans so I want to find some nice bread pans. I like yours! So can I ask where you got them and how much they were? :)

Congrats on your new place, liz. it looks incredible with wood flroos and lots of charm. I’ve been a crazy bread maker lately. Whole wheat that my kids think is candy. It got me thinking, I’d love to have your mom/mema’s recipe. would you share? I ate that stuff like candy at your house too!
