CONTEST: Bread & Cie.’s “Bread Your Stuff!”

We interrupt this blog to bring you a message from Charles:

As you know, we long ago succeeded in getting every person in San Diego to buy and eat at least one loaf of Bread & Cie. every day. In order to keep sales growing, we have been forced to come up with a new  use for our bread.
As a result, we are pleased to announce the first- ever -in -the- history- of- the- world:
                                                                       Bread Your Stuff contest.
What does it mean to bread your stuff?

Breaded dog

Bread your dog!

Charles Kaufman, bread

Bread your boss!

Bread your bread!

Here’s how not to bread things:

Bread and baby

Yes it's cute, but it's the wrong way to bread.

How it works: Bread something you love, take a picture and send it to our Twitter or Facebook accounts between now and March 20 (also the first day of spring). We’ll post our favorites over the next few weeks.

Prizes: (Yes, prizes!):

Grand prize: $50 gift certificate to Bread & Cie. Café.

Group grand prize: The most creative group of 4 or more will win a catered sandwich and dessert basket from the café.

Additional prizes: Two runners-up will each receive $25 Bread & Cie. gift certificates.

Rules and restrictions: Who likes rules? There are no rules or restrictions here, as long as we get your images by March 20.
